Product Description
Brushbond UltraFlex
High Performance & Ultra flexible polymer modified elastomeric waterproofing membrane system for concrete and masonry surfaces.
Uses Brushbond UltraFlex, when fully cured, provides a seamless Elastomeric waterproof membrane for use in roof areas, wet areas, bathroom, water tanks, swimming pools, reservoirs, precast joints where a tough elastomeric water tight membrane is required Advantages Low VOC. Can be applied to damp substrates. No primer required. Elastomeric – able to bridge cracks Able to take foot traffi c when cured. Factory pre-blended two component system ensure quality control at site control. Description Brushbond UltraFlex is a two component polymer modifi ed waterproof membrane which is supplied in readymix kits. When mixed, an easily brushable coating is produced. It can simply be applied by a stiff brush, roller, or trowel to obtain the desired thickness. Brushbond UltraFlex consists of specially selected cements, graded hard wearing aggregates and additives supplied in powder form together with a liquid component of polymers providing exceptional adhesion, resiliency, fl exibility, toughness and durability. Standards compliance Brushbond UltraFlex conforms to the requirements of: DIN 1048, Part 5, 1991 ISO 7783:2018 ASTM D412 : 2013 Brushbond UltraFlex is deemed to be suitable for use with potable water sources as tested as per USFDA CFR 175-300 Technical Support Fosroc off ers a comprehensive range of high performance high quality, construction products. In addition to a wide range of quality products, Fosroc off ers a technical support package to specifi ers and contractors which includes assistance with product selection and technical advice from staff with unrivalled experience in the industry
It is recommended that general re-surfacing and areas subjected to light foot traffi c should receive a Brushbond UltraFlex in two coats of 500 µm ( microns ) each to give a 1mm thick coating. Additional coatings may be required for a water retaining structures like swimming pool, water storage tank covered with plaster/tiles

Results derived from testing fi eld-applied samples may vary, dependent on actual site conditions. Application Instructions Preparation All surfaces which are to receive Brushbond UltraFlex coating, must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might eff ect adhesion. Spalled and deeply disintegrated concrete should be removed to sound concrete and repaired with Renderoc System. Mixing The Brushbond UltraFlex Liquid concentrate is poured from the plastic container into the metal drum supplied and mixed mechanically with a slow speed drill (350-450 rpm) fi tted with a Fosroc Mixing Paddle (MR3). Add the powder component gradually to the liquid avoiding lump formation and mix for 4-5 minutes until a smooth consistent mix is achieved. Use the material within the recommended pot life. Application For best results damp the surface before coating with Brushbond UltraFlex. repaired of any undulations or pot holes.
